“Want to paint your
slime-green room today?”
“Huh?”
“I have a whole gallon
of cheery-cherry-red paint,”
he says.
“Left over from painting
our kitchen.”
I had been thinking
beachy-blue for my room,
but …
“Bring it over,” I tell him.
“I could use some cheery.”
