Black American Conservatives:
America’s Freedom Sentinels
Why I Stand: From Freedom to the Killing Field of Socialism highlights the period during which the Black community stood at the same crossroad as our nation does today. Due to the path chosen during the early 1900s, the Black American community has paid dearly in loss of lives, souls, hopes, and dreams. Its century-long sacrifice can only be deemed worthwhile if our nation learns from its journey and chooses not to duplicate its mistake.
Allowing the planting of the seeds of Socialism/Marxism within its once proud, entrepreneurial, and Christian community in 1910 was a game changer. The consequence of this parasitic ideology can now be seen within every community where it resides. The urban communities of Detroit, Oakland, Philadelphia, Ferguson, and others stand as a warning beacon to our nation. Coming from within those same communities are Freedom Sentinels, willing to do battle for the hearts and minds of all freedom-loving Americans. These Black American conservatives understand that our nation cannot afford to lose more ground. They have also proven that above popularity and acceptance, they love freedom more.
The pioneer Black conservatives listed below, and many others throughout our country, deserve our thanks and our free market vote. We do so as we read and promote their books, listen to their shows, buy from their businesses and advertisers, and support their efforts to spread the message of conservatism. They are political free agents who are issue-driven, diverse, and fiercely independent in their views, solutions, and political preferences. As individuals, they are driven by diverse and independent thought, yet there is a guaranteed consensus among them—their love and appreciation for America and the liberty it embodies.
From its visionary beginning...
“It has been the American Way that maintains that freedom is a birthright. It is a nation that represents a perpetual source of hope for every seeking soul…those within its free borders, and those around the world dreaming to be.”
