Game Time!

Add these three-digit numbers by rewriting them and stretching out the kitties on the kitty pile! I’ll do the first one for you.

Let’s Play: This might seem scary at first, but not if we think about our cuddly meowntain. First, we’ll write the numbers on top of each other:

…and then we stretch the kitties! Since there are 0 tens in 107, it’s a good idea to put a 0 in that spot so we can keep everything straight when we’re adding.

Next we circle the hundreds together, the tens together, and the ones together, and add ’em together!
