Today’s practice of deliberately selecting weak, perforated and multi-blemished currencies for the offering basket is equivalent to the Old Testament practice of selecting deformed and sick animals as sacrificial lambs, which God rejected.

• Whatever has a blemish, you shall not offer it, for it shall not be accepted on behalf.
