CONCLUSION

Like riding the bike and taking the classes, writing this book has been a lot of fun. (Not so much the writing itself perhaps, but the chance to get to know a piece of equipment and the attendant software that comes with it that has already given me such pleasure.)

I knew with the first keystroke that so much of what I was going to present here was going to be very subjective. How could it not be? Everyone who picks up this book will be at a different fitness level and will have different experiences with technology. It is hard to be “everyman” to all readers.

This book is unofficial. Peloton did not ask me to write it. Perhaps they will find fault with parts of it. Perhaps you will. That’s okay! All errors are mine. With all the nonfiction books I have ever read, it has been my belief that if I could learn a few things I didn’t know, then it will have been worth the read. That is my fervent hope in writing this. I didn’t set out to get rich or win any literary prizes. My sole reason for writing it has been that I believe there are people like me out there who will really benefit—and perhaps benefit tremendously—from giving a Peloton Bike a chance.

Now, through the reading of these tips, maybe you know things about Peloton Bikes that you didn’t know before. If this is what I’ve accomplished, then I’ll be more than happy!

I sincerely believe that a Peloton Bike is one of the most important fitness innovations to arise in modern history. It takes advantage of almost every contemporary technological innovation and uses them to allow riders to create custom fitness programs that can be engaged virtually anywhere—and at any time—with a level of immersion also set by the user. If you are interested in getting fit, but perhaps have been waiting until the stars aligned to make it possible, I think this is your sign that the stars are finally configured just right! I hope you will look seriously at the Peloton Bike, and my earnest wish is that you get as much out of it as I have.
