The adage of “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” is especially true with this smoothie! When paired with the super-foods spinach and avocado, this smoothie will not only keep the doctor away, but will help you thrive!

Serves: 1 medium (8 oz.) smoothie

½ cup coconut water

1 cup fresh baby spinach (1 big handful)

1 medium apple, peeled and cored

½ avocado

1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

1 scoop vanilla protein

For best results, choose a sweeter variety apple like Fuji, Red Delicious, Pink Lady, or Honey Crisp.

Add all ingredients into blender, and blend until smooth. Pour into glass, and top with additional apple slices, if desired. Enjoy right away while cold.

¼ cup coconut milk

1 cup honeydew melon

1 cup cantaloupe

3–4 fresh mint leaves

1 cup fresh baby spinach (1 big handful)

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Add all ingredients into blender, and blend until smooth. Enjoy right away while cold.
