Jax shook his head as they got to the front door. Skull pulled it open and they headed inside. The first thing they saw was a small blonde woman at the front desk, a large smile on her face as she greeted people when they passed by.
“Hello Carl! How was your workout,” she asked a short chubby man as he passed by.
“What the hell is wrong with that?” Jax looked aghast.
Skull looked at the male.
“Not the male, the female. She’s so, what’s the word I’m looking for...Vibrant!”
“Vibrant?”
Skull was confused.
“That’s not a bad thing here, I think.”
“No, she is just, well, look at her. She makes me wanna punch her in the face.”
Skull laughed.
“You mean perky and upbeat.”
“Sure, whatever that means. All I know is she is making me want to vomit.”
The woman behind the desk left her post and Skull took that as their chance to find new bodies.
“Come on let’s get this over with.”
They walked through the first door they found and were hit with a wall of steam that disoriented them. The smell of the room was odd to them.
“What is this place?”
Jax started to backup as he spoke, but the door closed behind them, which trapped them in the room. Once their eyes adjusted to the room they were horrified by what they saw.
Skull’s face turned white.
“I don’t know what this place is, but I will forever have it in my mind.”
The room they had wandered into was the gym steam room. A group of men sat in the nude enjoying the steam. They were all middle-aged gym owners from out of town. They had come to the gym to check out the competition. Jax couldn’t look away from the human’s bodies.
“I am not eating any of them. The fur alone would make me choke.”
Skull turned quickly and tried to find the door handle. There was no handle. Panic set in as he scrambled to find a way out. To his left was a button that opened the door. Jax started to look around the room to find a way out. As he stood there something sprayed him in the face that burned like hell. Jax cursed as he covered his face.
“We are going to die in here.”
He growled in pain. As the demons began to panic, the door opened which let the steam out. Skull took hold of Jax’s arm and bolted out of the room.
