Summary

In this chapter we learned how to expand the Raspberry Pi 2's storage options by using an external USB HDD. In the process, we explored how the boot process works and learned some new Linux commands, including dd.

Next, we looked at how we could install Samba to turn our device into a NAS device for saving files from the other machines on our network.

Next, we will look at graphics programming on the Raspberry Pi using C/C++.
