Dear Reader,

I’m often asked by former mission workers how I “get it right,” when I’ve never traveled to Liberia and never served on a long mission trip. I must confess—I am a total research nut. I get lost in reading personal journals, letters and books written by former missionaries. I know I don’t get everything right, but research, scores of volumes and hours, is how I create the settings and the characters between my pages—characters like Anna and Stewart in this book, or Mary and William in The Doctor’s Mission. The happily-ever-afters, however, aren’t from research books but from thirty-six years of experience with my own romance hero, a man I’d follow into the deepest jungle anywhere.

I love hearing from readers. Here’s how to connect with me: www.debbiekaufman.com, www.facebook.com/debbiekaufmanfanpage, www.twitter.com/debbie_kaufman or debbiekaufmanauthor@gmail.com. You can also write to me at P.O. Box 444, Griffin, GA 30224.

Blessings,
