Jesus’ Invitation to You

To embrace Jesus in saving faith and enter His eternal kingdom, you must first acknowledge your sinfulness before God. Like the tax collector in Luke 18:13–14, you must ask God for mercy and forgiveness, trusting not in your own good works but only in the finished work of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through His death on the cross, Jesus paid the penalty for sin—so that all who believe in Him will be saved. Through His resurrection, Jesus conquered death once and for all and proved that He is who He claimed to be.

True belief is more than just mental assent. Embracing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior includes being willing to follow and serve Him. For those who love the Lord Jesus Christ, serving Him is not a burden. Rather it is a profound delight, the fruit of a transformed life, and a preview of the glorious worship that awaits all believers in heaven.
