Fast Candle Calm Down (Connecting with Fire)
Life can be fast-paced and stressful, and sometimes it is hard to keep our minds from spinning around and around. Try this simple practice to connect with the element of fire while also giving yourself five minutes of peace and the space to catch your breath. Light a candle and sit or stand in front of it. Take slow deep breaths as you concentrate on the flame; its shape, its motion, its warmth, and its beauty. As you gaze at the candle, feel yourself becoming calm and centered. After five minutes, snuff out the candle and get on with your day.
