I guess the guest left at some point. When Lady and I finished, we looked around and he was gone. “He’s gone?” I said, and we just laughed. Then she turned on the TV and we watched an episode of the bad werewolf show we’d been keeping up with.
“Do you think he’ll turn into a wolf at an inopportune time on today’s episode?” I asked her.
