Sometimes the only way to cope with grief is to fall in love with Death himself. But being infatuated with Death goes against every instinct Samarra has. And yet something about his comforting touch and piercing white eyes draws her in closer and refuses to let go.
However, the more she enjoys being in his presence, the more she is afraid of the lengths she will go to in order to stay by his side. And as she is pulled into his intoxicating world, she is scared she will never find her way out.
