The literature devoted to every topic in this book, once scarce and scattered, has ballooned into something vast. As the era of the Internet dawned, numerous websites and blogs arose to address mind, body, and spirit.
I began to write books that focused on topics first addressed in Quantum Healing. Here are some selected titles.
Perfect Health (1990) offers a practical guide to Ayurveda, adapted to the daily needs of modern life in the West.
Ageless Body, Timeless Mind (1993) explores the mind-body connection as the best way to prevent premature aging and reverse the effects of the aging process.
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success (1994) is a pocket guide to the principles of yoga, adapted for everyday use.
The Book of Secrets (2004) goes deeply into the teachings of Vedanta and the wisdom tradition of consciousness.
Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul (2009) describes the process of self-transformation from the deepest level of consciousness, the soul.
In the intervening years since Quantum Healing appeared, I eagerly embraced these new opportunities. You will find extensive, updated discussions at www.deepakchopra.com and wide-reaching sites like www.huffingtonpost.com, where I’ve contributed weekly for several years. These posts are completely indexed, although not divided into topics yet.
The most comprehensive cataloging of spontaneous remissions is also available online. It was compiled by Caryle Hirschberg and Brendan O’Regan for the Institute of Noetic Sciences, with literally thousands of references. Available in hard copy, the text is online at the institute’s website, http://noetic.org/library/publication-books/spontaneous-remission-annotated-bibliography/.
Finally, as my exploration into quantum healing deepened, I felt that I should coauthor papers with credentialed scientists who understood the implications of the mind-body connection as applied to medicine, biology, genetics, and physics. Following is a list of collaborations with one of my most admired and widely published colleagues, physicist Menas Kafatos, in the form of peer-reviewed articles. I’m enduringly grateful that he and the other scientists have coauthored posts and blogs with me in recent years—see the index at Huffington Post.
