Armenian BBQ

Ingredients:

❖  chicken, beef, pork, or lamb meat

❖  salt

❖  black pepper

❖  red pepper

❖  oregano 

❖  little bit garlic

❖  2 tbs. olive oil

❖  2 tbs. water

❖  1 big head onion

Preparation:

On a baking sheet, line up the meat that you want to BBQ. 

Coat the meat with salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper to taste.

In a separate bowl put the 2 tbs. of olive oil and water, along with the crushed garlic cloves mix it up to let the ingredients blend together to form a nice smell of garlic.

Chop lengthwise the big head of onion and cover the meats with it.

Pour over the meat the olive oil, water, and garlic mixture.

Make sure to cover the meats on all sides with the mixture of all the ingredients. Put in a big pot and marinade in the refrigerator for a minimum of 12 hours, maximum 1 day to get those flavors coated on the meat. When ready BBQ! Enjoy, what most call the best Armenian food!
