EPILOGUE – DEDICATION

In the Buddhist tradition, we always complete a meditation, teaching, or anything of value with a “dedication of merit.” In the publishing tradition, the dedication is at the beginning of the book, and I followed that publishing tradition at the front of this book.

I complete this portion of what I have often described as my plunge into the depths of the “Bucky Dharma” with the following dedication. I do this understanding that there are no beginnings or ending in absolute, universal reality and knowing that everything we do is with and for all beings.

May all beings be happy and peaceful.
May all beings be free from fear and pain.
May all beings be healthy and strong.
May all beings live with love and compassion.
May all beings fully awaken and be free.

To the best of his ability Dr. R. Buckminster Fuller lived a happy, healthy, peaceful life free from fear and pain with a great strength of love and compassion, and these attributes allowed him to awaken and be free more fully than most of his peers. He also fully shared all that he could of what he had learned on his journey.

This small volume represents a tiny fraction of the wisdom and insights he uncovered and of the seeds that he sowed and of the love he gave so freely. Please take whatever you find relevant and true to your experience. Use it and share it as often as possible. That’s how we create sufficiency and abundance, and how we manifest our true mission as compassionate, mindful stewards and navigators creating “a world that works for everyone” on board a tiny, fragile planet that Bucky called Spaceship Earth.
