Enjoy a peanut butter milkshake as a snack, a quick breakfast or as a dessert. You can vary the nut butters, even using chocolate hazelnut spread, such as Nutella or see the homemade version here.

1 banana, peeled and cut into chunks
250g (9oz/2 cups) vanilla ice cream
120ml (4fl oz/½ cup) cold milk
4 tbsp smooth peanut butter
ice cubes (optional)
Put all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until well blended and smooth.
Pour the milkshake into two tall glasses and drink immediately.
Note: You can make a vegan version with vegan vanilla ice cream and unsweetened almond milk.
