“Jill can we just drop the topic,I’m truly not interested in any of it.”I was honestly frustrated with her now,she just could not stop,Mr Bodwin had plagued her mind.
“He has a dirty eye on Ruth,can’t you see?”she begged,Kim was driving silently but the look on her face was deadly,if Jill was speaking like this, then surely she saw something which we did not.Sipper asked seriously, “What makes you think that?”
“It all started from the time we visited that vampire’s temple.”
“I am still not getting it.”she said pushing past a newbie driver.Her face was red and Sipper too was holding something heavy in her small heart.
“Ruth is behaving strange from that day,she has not confronted any of us till now though she knows we disobeyed the rule.Top it up,her own sister breaks the most important one and she is unaware of it.That’s not Ruth,there is something wrong about her,I am so sure.”
“Where does Mr Bodwin fit into all this?.”I shouted,my voice was at top of my lungs,well,being Ruth’s sister was not an easy job,I was compared silently with her now and then.
“Don’t you think it was unusually a long dinner?.”
We did not speak,it was pretty long,but I did not recall any significant memory,it looked though like time was passing quickly,I remembered Chris pushing his leg but after that I was blank.
“Where is the real doubt?.”thundered Kim.
“His eyes,they looked at Ruth....”Jill was uncomfortable revealing it.I could sense what it was,the way Chris looked at me.
“Worse than that.”Jill whispered.
Kim had dashed Four vehicles in a row and I was mad, “Could you just slow down.”
“I’m trying.”she said,her tongue cursing Mr Bodwin under her breath.
“Do you think they will be okay?.”
“Its alright,she has done that before.They will be fine.Sipper you took care didn’t you.”
“Yes.”she replied acidly,she was doing the same,Mr Bodwin was our new target.He was Chris’s favorite teacher and he was his pet,my girls going against him was not a healthy sign.I had to do something.
“Jill get a solid clue before you make us all jump to the same conclusion as you.”I stated.She stared at me for a long time,Kim drove smoothly and Sipper,she tried to look outside,her face was soft again.
“I will,I promise.”the cold look in Jill’s eye was a sharp commitment,there was no way she was backing away now.Once the car halted,Jill was out in a moment.Kim did not like it and neither did I.
“I know she is right,we are soon going to see why.”Sipper did eye me differently and so did Kim.It was so obvious what they were thinking and somewhere it was true too,I feared loosing Chris more than Ruth.I had become a slave to a boy who I just met,my sister who lived for us giving up her childhood,I just forgot about her.So selfish.I did not go to the class,in fact I sat in the library,Chris was by my side in a minute.
“Hey there beautiful,why are you so sad?”
“Its them.”I choked.
“Its alright,cats play and fight together.”he smiled,I had to smile with him,he was so good,not judging or comparing me.I could just be myself with him,it was the same with my friends but they were just annoyed for the time being.
“Smile and let them know you care.See all of them will be coming to you in a minute.”
I had to kiss him,he did not pull away,his hands gently slipped down to my curves,how could I forget the pure cold touch.The next moment when I opened my eyes,I was locked inside a vacuum with him,not caring for a single eye that looked through us, I was willingly walking with him to the darkest corner of the library.
The floor was cold but the heat that we exchanged helped me survive it.I was completely insane,he was all over me,madness clearly reflected in his eyes and I encouraged him more.
“Its been long....”I moaned.
Reluctantly he pulled himself away,helping me dress,his hands still brushed my skin while he let the loose top cover my body.
“Still hungry?.”I teased very well knowing the answer.
“Yes.”
“You should always have your breakfast early morning and then drop in school you know.”
“I love the fresh flesh that’s not easily available in the market.”he smiled,pulling me on top of his stomach.I was his baby,he was my man.It was so fast and good. “Can I come tonight?.”
“Yes.”there was no going back,he was all over me.I wanted him,the same way he wanted me. “We should go to the classroom.”he suggested.I groaned.
“If they see me with you,I will be....”
“Fine,you go first and then I will come.”
I got up and last look at him showed that he was still happy,his smile was devious,there was no way I was giving up now,two rounds of sensual ecstasy were more than enough for me to decide.I felt comfortable around him and so did he.
Jill smiled at me,I smiled back.Kim was struggling with her notes and Sipper was well Sipper,she was dead on the last row,hiding her face.
Finally the bell rang and I still could not see Chris anywhere near the class,this did put me down,I wanted his one look so badly but Jill distracted me well.It was good to have her as my friend.
“So did any of the wishes come true?”
“No.”cried Sipper sadly.
“What did you wish Kim?”
She smiled,sometimes she did manage to hide the best Kim,Kim with a heart of gold. “Not wise to say the wish.”
“I think my wish is not coming true.”continued Jill.
“Why?.”I asked.
“Well,I did not kiss his heart.”
“Me too.”groaned Sipper.
“Me three.”Kim was devastated.
“Me four.” I added casually.
“So now you can tell me what were you wishing for?.”
“I wished that once in my lifetime I see my parents who actually loved me.”her eyes were brimmed,poor Kim,having parents in high class society was a boon as well as a curse.
“What did you ask?.”
“I just wanted to see my mom,how did she look and why did she left,why she did not call in so many years.”replied Jill,her throat was choked but she managed each word with ease.
“I just wanted to be human or a witch,anything,which gives me a healthy body.”laughed Sipper.
“Your wish was truly difficult to guess,but how come Rocky set his eyes on you,we thought....”Kim let it trail and Sipper enjoyed her explanation.
“Well I wanted a body that held a heart which would attract only a true soul who would stand by me forever.”
“Interesting.”winked Jill, “nailed it beautifully, a body and a guy in just one wish.”
“What was your wish?”Sipper turned to me.
“Well,I did not wish for anything,I already have.”
My reply was the most simple one of all,they did not doubt it for a minute,of course,I had her,she never let me feel what it was like to be lonely.
Jill smiled her best,the same sharp glint was still there in her eyes,there was no way she was giving up and I was glad for it,but the question that nudged my mind was,would I be able to give up Chris if that was what it led to,the answer for it right now was no,it was difficult.
The little conversation in the corridor was healthy,so none of the wishes were coming true,Jill was scribbling the words on the same borrowed book .Kim laughed pulling it away from her,Sipper enjoyed repeating her usually clean words loudly, ‘Wishes don’t come true’.
