“Where the hell am I and why am I bleeding?.”she whispered trying to sit straight,her eyes were wide awake,there was blood around her left breast,it did sting, “sleep Miyana,I am not done yet.”said Ronaldo walking close to her,he did not touch her and she was lying again,it looked like somebody just pushed her back on the bed,forcefully.
“Ronaldo what are you...”Ruth was speechless and so were we,her soft eyes were fixed on the pointed fangs that were growing slowly in front of her eyes.The only candle in the dark room was on the ground,giving us glimpses of them,she did scream number of times and I could see why,Ronaldo was biting her!.
Her screaming did stop,it looked as though an age had just passed in front of our eyes,Ronaldo walked around the room,lighting the candles one by one,the moonlit night was helping my vision,I saw her,she was clutching the pillow tightly to her chest,there were blood stains around her,the once beautiful dress was torn in half,he kissed slowly her open back,following again her beautiful spine.
“Did you enjoy Ruth?.”he asked and laughed, “oh I am not a vampire but his father,he is born from me,vampire’s are born from lunati’s,from their dead bodies I must say.”he laughed,brushing her right curve,his hands stopped,he kissed the deep lining of her luscious flesh, “you smell so good.I just can’t believe it,I turned you into a lunati without killing you,I love myself and I’ll make sure you love me.”he hissed,pulling her inside,so that she could face him.She was scared and terrified to her core,his hands however tried to hold her legs,calming them down, “easy there Ruth,I won’t touch you without your consent.I’ll never do that,trust me.”
“Bullshit.”I hated that tunnel,it just came on its own, “what did he do to her?.”I asked Jill,getting back on my feet, “turned her into a lunati.”she answered.
“I know that.”I thundered.
Roy interfered “Ruth’s diary is not in one piece,its burnt and scratched,there are words which are written in other language,I mean pseudo something,that’s what the witch at Bankashira told us,it can only be interpreted by her,mostly those are haunted memories,like she was immensely tortured by him,...”
I had to cut in “what do you mean by tortured her?,didn’t he love her?.”
“He loves her alright but not like the movie stars that you see,he has...he has many ill ways to get around her, when I mean ill it does not mean completely ill,its like,its like,loving a dead who wants you dead so they can have an eternal bonding..are you getting what I am trying to say...”he was baffled,my expressions I guess did trigger confusion in him.
Jill spoke boldly, “Aagi,he is no human,he suffered immense amount of pain because of her in the earlier life,it did blow his senses,all that he did was to make her one thing clear that she only belonged to him now and forever.Most of his methods were not healthy,he killed few to make her realize that, like..”she did hesitate, “like your parents,aunt and the only friend Ruth had.”Jill pointed to a boy who was standing only few blocks away,he had a red rose in his hand,Ruth was walking from school,it was not hard to guess,she was wearing her school uniform and black jacket,it was snowing,I could see the cold breath that blew out of her chest,the way she tried to wrap her hands around herself ,trying hard to keep warm.
“Hey Ruth...”he called and she turned back,a faint smile masked her lips, “hey there Sam,where are you going with that flower?.”
“I need serious shit of advice,you saw her,didn’t you?.”he asked super excited.
“Who?.”
“Melanie,jeez,in historia class,she winked at me and look she even text me a rose,glittering one,look at the words below it,oh forget it,I’ll read, My lips are waiting for you.”
“Great.She is so fast,so you want me to drop you at Melanie’s home?.”
“No idiot,we are going to meet in the park.”
“What you want me to do Sam?.”she rolled her eyes,walking again on the pavement.
“I want you to suggest me ways in which I can propose her,be still,how about I go on knees and give....”
“Sam what’s wrong?.”Ruth was terrified,his eyes were bleeding all of a sudden,the rose in his hands burned,she was about to scream when a hand closed her mouth,Sam was on the ground,his body started degrading,turning slowly into bones,Ruth could not see it,she fainted.
“I told you to stay away from him,didn’t I?.”he hissed.
Ruth was crying her heart out,we could see it clearly,Ronaldo did not regret it at all,it was so common for him to kill somebody, “why did you do it?.”she sobbed, “Why?.”
“Because you disobeyed me sweetheart,when I say stay away means stay away,when I say only me that means only me.”
“He was..”she tried.
“I know that but you are missing the point, you disobeyed me, you made me do it, he is dead because of you Ruth,only you.”
She sat there crying the entire evening and he sat on top of the roof watching her cry,there was a beautiful smile round his lips,it made me sick to my core,what kind of a lover was he?.
“A mad lover.”answered Jill automatically,Sipper nodded and Kim just tried hard to ignore,I couldn’t understand why.
“I’m not her,you are wasting your time.”she whispered,his smile died at once,the anger that flashed within his eyes were blood curdling,she ignored but we couldn’t, the next words out of her mouth did bring the worst in him,her voice was a whisper and the more she said it,the more he slapped her, hard and like a real brute,she stopped, taking her breath,trying to see through her brimmed eyes, “I am not Miyana,I am not her.”she barked loud and clear.
“Shut up,shut up...”he slapped her with more force,making her bleed around the edges of her lips.
“You are my Miyana,you only belong to me,you will obey me now and ever...”she did cut him softly,her eyes however were far determined and cold “if I don’t?,what will you do Jacob?,what will you do?,kill me?.”
“No, I won’t kill you but I will kill her, I will kill her now.”he got up furiously,ready to fly,I could see his black wings,dark as ebony,emerging out of his back in a jiffy,tearing his smooth white skin.
“Don’t hurt her,don’t,I’ll do whatever you say,I’ll always obey you,always,don’t hurt her.”
I was in pool of tears,my sister loved me so much,she did everything for me,to save me from the monster that Jacob had become.My heart was crying and so were the eyes,this time I readily allowed those dark words to slip under my feet and carry me away, needless to say,it was end of Ruth’s Diary -Miyana.
