About the Author

Award-winning author Irene Vartanoff combined her love of comic books and romance novels by working for Marvel Comics and DC Comics as well as MyRomanceStory.com, an online romance comic publisher. Following a long editorial stint with Harlequin, Irene began publishing her own novels. Irene’s first novel, Temporary Superheroine, is now Book 1 of a trilogy. Her other novels range from women’s fiction to contemporary romance, including Western and Gothic romance. And opera romance! A lifelong East Coast resident, Irene lives in a forest of tall oaks in the wilds of West Virginia with her husband, Scott Edelman.
