Herb Punch Bowl Ice Ring

Freezing Time 26–28 hours

Makes 1 ring

water

1 cup mint

1 cup violets

1 cup pansies

1. Place 1½” of water in round ice ring mold.

2. Arrange ⅔ cup violets and ⅔ cup pansies upside down in water.

3. Arrange ⅔ cup mint leaves evenly over flowers. Lightly press leaves down.

4. Place ring in freezer for 1 hour. Remove from freezer.

5. Add 1½” very cold water to ring. Add remaining flowers and mint leaves in same order as before. Press down. Place in freezer for 1 hour. Remove ring from freezer.

6. Add 1”–2” very cold water. Return ring to freezer. Freeze at least 24 hours before using.

Note: Add some slightly bruised mint leaves to punch just before serving.
