Makes 4–6 servings
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
¼–½ cup light olive oil
1 lb. dry noodles or spaghetti
1 cup chopped fresh basil leaves (5 Tbsp. dried)
½–¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
black pepper to taste
chopped tomatoes or black olives (optional)
1. Sauté garlic in olive oil.
2. Cook noodles or spaghetti according to package directions.
3. Drain pasta, then gently stir in garlic and all remaining ingredients. Toss well and serve hot.
