Italian soldiers of the San Marco battalion line up on the aircraft carrier Garibaldi at the port of Taranto on November 18 as four Italian Navy ships are about to set sail to join Operation Enduring Freedom. The aircraft carrier Garibaldi, the frigates Zeffiro and Aviere, and the supply ship Etna, with 1,400 crew and military personnel, will join the campaign against terrorism.
