Part One

Introduction

Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.

As free thinkers, we are faced with the responsibility of seeking our own answers and finding a way through life that brings meaning and value to it. For those who are spiritual, this often means being able to sense and feel real power—power that they can rely on and trust, power that, even if it only ever shows itself for a moment, gives them faith enough to go on. As witches we do not need to wait for this power to be revealed; our witch power gives us the ability to sense and find it no matter where we are.

The most difficult part of this is looking back at what we think we know of the road so far and having the courage to review our connection to the fundamental aspects of our craft. As a serious practitioner, you now have the wisdom to see and feel things you did not when you were introduced to them. In this section we are going to strengthen our witch power and take back the power that was taken from us, revisit parts of our craft and prime them for working with the witch power, and then we are going to use our new upgrades to travel to the witch’s sabbat.

Be sure to have a journal or sketch pad handy while you read. Part of what we will be doing is constructing ways for your mind to engage the witch power so that you can better access it. To do this we will need to think creatively and stretch our imagination as well as create pathways for that power to flow. Journaling, sketching, and documenting your experiences as you are prompted will help you establish the right kind of connection to the work of becoming a flourishing occultist.
