This very small, delicate mushroom has a cap up to 1" wide that is convex with a depressed center and radial striping, colored golden brown to reddish with a paler margin. Stalk is thin, often with a bulbous base, and covered with thin dark hairs below. Gills descend the stalk and are widely spaced and pale brownish-yellow. Spore print is pale yellow-brown. The Fuzzy Foot is found on decaying wood in coniferous woodlands throughout North America during the summer and fall. Not edible.
