Additional Ideas for Reading and Writing Messages

Using email can be fun. You can make it even more fun by making some changes to your email messages. For example, if the text of an email message appears too small (or too large), you can modify the text size by opening a message and selecting Format ▸ Style ▸ Bigger (or Smaller), or you can press -+ (plus sign) to make text appear bigger or -– (minus sign) to make text appear smaller.

As an alternative to changing the size of text in a message, you can make your Macintosh read your messages to you by selecting Edit ▸ Speech ▸ Start Speaking. This makes your Macintosh read your message to you in a computer-synthesized voice.

The Mail program makes it easy to read and write messages, so you can immediately start sending email to friends, relatives, and co-workers all over the planet. The more people you contact, the more likely you'll get interesting email from people you want to hear from in return, and that can make everyone happy.
