Air Fryer Breakfast German Pancakes

Ingredients

(Optional) 2 full tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce

Pinch of salt

1 cup of almond milk or coconut milk; 2% whole milk

1 cup of whole wheat flour or oat flour

3 whole eggs

Garnish ideas:

(Optional) maple syrup

Greek yogurt

Raw unsweetened cacao nibs

Swerve confectioners’ sugar

Fresh berries

Directions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 390F.  Arrange the ramekin or cast iron tray into the air fryer while heating.

2. Combine all the batter ingredients into a blender and blend well until it’s smooth. If batter is too thick, add tbsp of applesauce and/or milk.

3. Sprits nonstick baking spray over the ramekin or cast iron tray, then add in one serving of batter.

4. Cook in the air fryer for 6 to 8 minutes until set. Top might look too hard, don’t worry, it usually soften as it cools. Garnish and enjoy! Repeat for the remaining batter or store in the fridge in an airtight container, you will always have a fresh batter to make every morning.
