Ingredients
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of pepper
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 lbs of potatoes, peel and cut lengthwise into 1/2 inch thick and slice into 1/2 inch stick
FISH:
Optional, Tartar sauce
1 lbs of haddock or cod fillets
1/4 tsp of salt
1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese
2/3 cup of crushed cornflakes
2 tbsp of water
1 large egg
1/4 tsp of pepper
1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
Directions
1. Heat up your air fryer to 400 F.
2. Toss (in batches if necessary) potatoes with pepper, oil, and salt in a large bowl. Arrange the coated potatoes in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook potatoes for 5-10 minutes, until just tender. Toss and keep cooking for 5-10 minutes longer until slightly browned and crisp.
3. While the potatoes cook, mix together pepper and flour in a shallow bowl. Beat egg with water in a different shallow bowl. Toss cayenne, cornflakes and cheese in a third bowl. Sprinkle fish with salt.
4. Coat both sides of the fish in flour mixture; shake any excess off, then dip in the egg mixture, and lastly coat in the cornflake mixture; make sure it’s well coated.
5. Arrange the fish in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook 8-10 minutes until fish starts to flake with a fork and lightly browned, flipping midway through cooking. Heat the fries in the basket to heat through. Serve with tartar sauce.
