Air-Fried Chicken Wings

Ingredients

10 (about 1 1/2 pounds) chicken drumettes, pat dry 

Cooking spray

1 tbsp of lower-sodium soy sauce

1/2 tsp of cornstarch

2 tsp of honey

1 tsp of sambal oelek (ground fresh chili paste)

1 tsp of garlic, finely chopped 

1/2 tsp of fresh ginger, finely chopped 

1 tsp of fresh lime juice)

1/8 tsp of kosher salt

2 tbsp of chopped scallions

Directions

1. Spray the chicken evenly with cooking spray.

2. Arrange the chicken drumettes on their sides in the air fryer basket to avoid overcrowding.

3. Cook for 25 minutes at 400°F, turning halfway through cooking until very crispy,

4. While the chicken is cooking, in a small skillet, Whisk together cornstarch and soy sauce. Whisk in lime juice, ginger, garlic, sambal, honey, and salt over medium-high. Simmer until mixture is thickened and just begin to bubble.

5. Toss the chicken and sauce in a bowl. Sprinkle with scallions.
