Ingredients
1 tbsp of olive oil, or as needed
2 thickly sliced mushrooms
Ground black pepper to taste
1 tsp of salt
1 tbsp of chopped fresh thyme
1 small finely chopped onion
3 tbsp of dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 lbs of lean ground beef
Directions
1. Heat up the air fryer to 392 F.
2. Mix together the egg, ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, salt, thyme and pepper in a bowl. Knead the mixture thoroughly until smooth.
3. Arrange the beef mixture into a pan, use a spatula to smoothen the top, then Press mushrooms into the top. Spray with oil.
4. Transfer the pan to the basket of the air fryer basket and roast for 25 minutes until meatloaf is finely browned. Let cool for ten minutes, slice into wedges then serve.
