Ingredients
8 tsp of yellow mustard
Cooking spray
1 1/2 cups of finely crushed cornflakes cereal
2 lightly beaten large eggs
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
12 bamboo skewers or craft sticks
2 uncured hot dogs, all-beef
Directions
1. Cut the hot dog lengthwise in half. Slice each of the half evenly into 3 pieces. Pierce each hot dog with a skewer or craft sticks.
2. In a shallow dish, place flour, take a second bowl and place the eggs. In a third shallow dish, Place the cornflakes cereal. Coat hot dogs in the first flour dish, shake off excess. Dip in the second egg dish, let excess egg drip off and lastly, coat in the cornflake crumbs dish.
3. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray. Arrange six coated hot dog in basket; gently spritz cooking spray over the top.
4. Cook for 10 minutes at 375°F, flipping over midway through cooking period until coating is crunchy and golden brown. Repeat steps to cook the remaining dog bites.
5. Serve three corn dog bites with 2 teaspoons of mustard, serve hot.
