Tender Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

2 tbsp of melted butter

2 sheets puff pastry

1 tbsp of brown sugar

2 tbsp of raisins or sultanas

2 apples, very small, Core and peeled 

Directions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 180c.

2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar with raisins or sultanas. On each puff pastry, place each apple then use the raisins and sugar mixture to fill the core. Cover the apple with the pastry.

3. Arrange a small sheet of foil, and place the apple dumplings on the foil, so the juice coming out won’t drip into the air fryer. Brush melted butter on the dough.

4. Transfer into the air fryer and bake at 180c for 25 minutes, turning once during cooking time to evenly cook until apples are soft and golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. If desired, serve with ice cream.
