AIR FRIED CASHEWS

Ingredients

2 tbsp of blackstrap molasses

3 tbsp of liquid smoke

2 tsp of salt

3 cups of whole raw cashews or halves and pieces

Directions

1. Toss all of the ingredients together in a large bowl until evenly and well coated.

2. In the air fryer basket, place the cashews and cook for 8-10 minutes at 350F, shaking regularly within 2 minutes intervals to make sure the cashews are evenly cooked. Towards the final two minutes of cooking, shake every minute and keep a close eye on the cashew to avoid burning. The cashew should be darken a bit. Allow cooling at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes, will get crunchier once they’re cooled. Store in an airtight container.

Note

There is a very tiny line between being done and burnt for this recipe. Halves and pieces cashew will require a lesser cooking time.
