Buttered Flatbread

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt, with extra for garnish

1 tablespoon water

1 cup almond flour

1 big egg & egg white

1 tablespoon oil, to fry

1 tablespoon melted butter

2 teaspoon Xanthan gum

2 tablespoons coconut flour

Instructions

1. Use a medium mixing bowl to combine the xanthan gum, flours, salt and baking powder until properly combined.

2. Add in the egg and egg white into the bowl then gently beat to incorporate till the dough starts to form.

3. Add the tablespoon of water into the dough and allow the xanthan gum & flour to absorb the moisture.

4. Slice the dough into 4 even parts then use a cling wrap to press down on each of the separated dough.

5. Add oil into a large skillet then place over a medium heat and add in the dough and fry for a minute on each side.

6. Brush the fried dough with some butter then garnish with salt, chopped parsley, serve and enjoy.
