On Windows Server 2016, you can attach a virtual hard disk (VHD) to your server using Disk Management. To do so, complete the following steps:
- Press the Windows key + R.
- In the Run window, enter diskmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
- In the Disk Management window, click the Action menu and select Attach VHD (see Figure 8.12):
