Epilogue

Eighteen months later
“Good morning, Fox,” I say as I open the door to Under Your Belt and let Ella and King step inside.
“Hey, guys. How are you all doing on this fine day?”
Ella smiles as she rubs her round belly. “Great. We can’t wait for our little one to make an appearance.”
“And I’m in desperate need of a new tool belt. The last one’s clasp broke.”
Fox frowns. “Broke? How did you manage to do that?”
Ella gives him a sheepish smile. “Let’s not go there. It’s kind of, um… private.”
“Oh, I see.” Fox tips his head back and laughs because he knows exactly what we’re talking about.
“Well, I’ll be next door at Something’s Brewing if you need me,” Ella says.
“See you in a bit, wife,” I tell my gorgeous girl as I kiss her.
Her eyes sparkle with the glow of a thousand stars. “See you soon. Love you, hubby.”
“I love you more,” I tell her.
“No, I love you more.”
I laugh, knowing we could go on for hours if we don’t put a stop to this. “You’re the best, Ella. I’m already missing you.”
I kiss her one last time before she heads next door. She takes King with her, and the bells above the door jingle as she closes it behind her gorgeous curvy ass.
“You guys are so happy together that it makes me happy,” Fox tells me as he leads me to the tool belt section of his shop.
“Thanks, man. I couldn’t be happier. A few years ago, I never thought I’d meet an amazing woman, marry her, renovate a house with her, and become a father. I’m glad I didn’t give up on love,” I confess to my best friend.
It’s true. Ella makes me incredibly happy. She moved in with me a few weeks after we met, and then we copied Kelsie and my brother and had ourselves a Christmas wedding. A perfect one, if I may say so myself.
I’m currently renovating a house with a huge garden and floor-to-ceiling windows boasting beautiful mountain views. It’s large enough to fit at least four children, which is great because that’s something we both dream of.
Every day with my girl feels like heaven on earth. We’re always laughing, we cook dinner together every night, and I kept my promise… I make sure she comes as much as she wants. She’s my soulmate.
And me? I’m a lucky bastard who has it all.
