IS RIGHT
Where there is discord, may we
bring harmony. Where there is error,
may we bring truth.
There is such a thing as faith that
moves mountains. I have that faith.
Where there is doubt, may we bring
faith. And where there is despair, may
we bring hope.
To wear your heart on your sleeve isn’t
a very good plan; you should wear it
inside, where it functions best.
Disciplining yourself to do what you
know is right… although difficult, is
the highroad to… self-esteem.
Ought we not to ask the media to
agree among themselves a voluntary
code of conduct?
I am in politics because of the conflict
between good and evil, and I believe
that in the end good will triumph.
Whatever has to be done, you
somehow find the energy to do.
Governments have
a duty to show
the way ahead.
