Classic French Fries
With a crispy outside, a soft inside, and the perfect amount of salty crunch, these air fryer French fries are just as delicious as they are healthy.
2 russet potatoes, skin on, scrubbed, and patted dry
2 tsp. olive oil
1⁄4 tsp. kosher salt
1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
2. Cut the russet potatoes into fry shapes, then place the fries, olive oil, and kosher salt in a medium bowl and toss.
3. Spray the fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray, then place the fries in the basket and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Pause the fryer, gently shake the basket, and cook for 5–6 more minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
5. Remove the fries from the fryer and allow to cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving.
