Jalapeño Poppers
Spicy jalapeño peppers with a gooey cheese filling are fantastic for anyone who loves things hot! The air fryer allows you to make them quickly—and deliciously!
8 jalapeño peppers
1⁄2 cup whipped cream cheese
1⁄4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
2. Use a paring knife to carefully cut off the jalapeño tops, then scoop out the ribs and seeds. Set aside.
3. In a medium bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Place the mixture in a sealable plastic bag, and using a pair of scissors, cut off one corner from the bag. Gently squeeze some cream cheese mixture into each pepper until almost full.
4. Place a piece of parchment paper on the bottom of the fryer basket and place the poppers on top, distributing evenly. (The air from the fryer will move the paper around some but won’t disrupt the cooking.) Cook for 10 minutes.
5. Allow the poppers to cool in the fryer for 5–10 minutes before serving.
