Cinnamon Sugar Twists
These delicate twists have a touch of sweetness and are just as airy and delicious as their deep-fried counterparts, but they lack extra oil and saturated fat.
1 sheet puff pastry
1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1. Preheat the air fryer to 330°F.
2. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 18 small strips and gently twist each piece to create a spiral shape.
3. Spray the fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray, then place 5–6 twists in the basket and cook for 3–5 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat this process with the remaining twists.
4. While the twists cook, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow dish.
5. Remove the twists from the fryer, tossing in the cinnamon sugar mixture, and allow to cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving.
