I was recently told about a boy, Jonathan Hagans, who went missing at the age of three during a family outing to a Florida beach back in 1968. The missing child was never found. Happily, in my book, I was able to bring about a somewhat positive outcome, yet as a parent of eight, I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child, nor the agony of not knowing what happened. My research took me to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the problem was much bigger than I ever imagined. If this is an issue that concerns you as well, the National Center’s website offers several ways to get involved to help the families dealing with a missing child: https://www.missingkids.org/
Thank you for reading my book. I truly appreciate you.
May God bless you!
