ABOUT THE AUTHOR

At the time of this writing, Zack Be is an overworked and under-slept graduate student long trapped in the gravity well of the Washington, DC, area. As a writer, musician, student, former rehabilitation counselor, and current couple and family therapist, Zack hopes you are reading this bio in a brighter future; one in which he’s finally found time for sleep between weekend warrior concerts, therapeutic interventions, and industrious all-nighters.

When he isn’t working, writing, or gigging with his bands, Zack plays with his dog Misty, grapples at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym, and generally tries to avoid the clarion call of web-surfing lollygags.

This is Zack’s second prose publication, following the novelette “True Jing,” which appeared in the July/August 2018 edition of Asimov’s Science Fiction.
