vacation house n. A massive, sprawling hotellike structure designed for weekend and holiday get-aways that includes accommodations and parking for a host of guests and recreational facilities such as a tennis court, swimming pool, beach access, etc.

view shaft n. 1. The narrow sliver of view between surrounding structures or landscaping through which a pond, bay, ocean or other natural feature can be glimpsed. 2.
