A Word on Making Sandwiches

Always use a sharp knife to slice the bread and cut the sandwiches. When a certain type of bread is the best to use, it is mentioned in the recipe, but most sandwiches can be made with all sorts of bread. Here also goes that quality makes all the difference, so buy the best bread you can get.

Tomatoes should be ripe and thinly sliced, and arranged in layers on the sandwich. Himalayan pink salt is our favourite seasoning.

All recipes serve 2, so the ingredients are based on 2 sandwiches. The method in each recipe describes how to make 1 sandwich. Cut each sandwich in half with a sharp knife when ready. It looks nicer and is easier to eat.
