The bottles in this section have been categorized by physical type and/or by the original contents of the bottle. For most categories, the trade names can be found in alphabetical order if they exist. Note that in the case of certain early bottles, such as flasks, a trade name does not appear on the bottle. These bottles have been listed by subject according to the embossing, label, or other identification on the bottle.

Since it is impossible to list every bottle available, I’ve provided a representative selection of bottles in various price ranges and categories, rather than listing only the rarest or most collectible pieces.

The pricing shown reflects the value of the particular bottle listed. Similar bottles could have higher or lower values than the bottles specifi cally listed in this book, but the listings following provide collectors an excellent starting point for determining a reasonable price range.
