Luxardo Bottles

The Girolamo Luxardo bottle is made in Torreglia, Italy, and was first imported into the United States in 1930. The Luxardo bottle usually contained wine or liquors, as Luxardo also produces wine.

Luxardo bottles are well designed and meticulously colored, adding to the desirability of this line. Most are figural and consist of historical subjects and classical themes. The most popular bottle, the Cellini, was introduced in the early 1950s and is still used. The names and dates of many of the earlier bottles are not known, due to owners removing the tags. Bottles in mint conditions with the original label, whether with or without contents, are very rare, collectible, and valuable. One of the rarer and more valuable of these bottles is the Zara, which was made prior to World War II.
