Grady watched Michaela and her old lady friend as they stood in the hall, and talked with the cruise officials. He wondered what had happened to cause so much commotion. He was pissed because he’d wanted to go back into Michaela’s room to leave her a gift he had bought her in the ship’s gift shop. He removed the small beautifully wrapped package and stared at it. Maybe he’d just lay it on her pillow tonight while she was sleeping. He smiled to himself as a thrill seized his body and an idea raced through his body.
Yeah, that’s exactly what he’d do. He’d sneak in there later and watch her sleep for a while. He rubbed his hands together in anticipation. She was his dream, his goddess, the woman in his dreams. His Juliet! He knew she wanted him... lusted for him. He deserved to be in her room at night... Every night. Of course, he’d have to do something with the damned dog. Electricity raced through his body. He was on fire.
Grady smiled to himself as he planned the night in his mind. He reached into his pocket for the beautiful strip of fabric that was his and his alone. It was ecstasy to touch it, to stroke it. It was like touching Michaela’s flesh.
“Dude, are you listening to me,” an impatient voice asked. “Where the hell’s your head?” Snake asked as he gave him a strange look.
Grady stood and said, “I gotta go. Got stuff to do...” Snake stared at him as he finished his drink quickly.
“Wait man, are we going into Athens?” he asked the retreating back.
Grady didn’t answer. He had other stuff to think about and it exhilarated him.
It wouldn’t be long now. He and Michaela would be together. They would be together and the two of them would become one in love.
