ABOUT SASCHA BLASE

chpt_fig_012

Unfortunately, not everyone has a romantic story about becoming a crochet pattern designer. Being a modern woman, Sascha learned the basics through blogs and YouTube. It did become a love story, however, when she got completely hooked! She created her own craft blog, A la Sascha, mostly related to knitting and crochet, and soon she started designing her own patterns. Her main focus is accessories, but you can also find clothing, toys, and amigurumi in her online shops. Sascha is married, a mother of two, and lives in the Netherlands. She has written and published two Dutch crochet pattern books, Combigurumi and Kant Haken, and is currently working on a new book. In her free time, she works as a medical assistant, so she knows how to use all different kinds of needles.
