Breeze called Primo a few times when she got home, but he didn’t answer. She figured he must have been busy and would call her the next day. She missed him already, but he’d left her with some pocket money so she’d be cool. She’d go shopping the next day. She was at least going to be able to sleep in peace since Lauren and Nya still weren’t home.
She’d called her mother, but of course Lauren hadn’t answered or bothered to call back. Since Primo had given her her Christmas gifts when he’d dropped her off, she figured she wouldn’t be seeing him any time soon. She was okay with that, as long as he didn’t stay away too long. She needed to convince him to let her move in with him so that she would never have to live under Lauren’s roof again.
