SIX CAMEOS BY CLARK KENT AND LOIS LANE OUTSIDE DC COMICS

Clark Kent and Lois Lane are very busy reporters—so busy that one comic book company is not enough for them! They pop up quite frequently in comic books by other publishers. Here are six cameos of Clark and Lois in comic books outside DC Comics.

1 X-Men #98. In this Christmas issue, the X-Men are celebrating the holidays when they walk past Clark, Lois, and what appears to be longtime DC Comics editor Julius Schwartz.

2 Marvel Team-Up #79. In another Christmas issue, Clark stops by the Daily Bugle to visit with his fellow reporters.

3 Thor #341. Thor, now free of his human identity of Don Blake, needs to find a way to appear inconspicuous when on Earth. Nick Fury suggests that he slick his hair back and wear eyeglasses, as, after all, it works for “that other guy.” That other guy then bumps into Thor on the next page.

4 WildC.A.T.s #8. In the only Image comic on this list, Clark and Lois enjoy a cruise along with a few members of the WildC.A.T.s. Cyclops and Jean Grey of the X-Men are also on the same cruise, as are grown-up versions of Beavis and Butt-Head, oddly enough.

5 The Ultimates #3. Lois, Clark, and Jimmy Olsen appear in this issue to interview Tony Stark about the introduction of the Ultimates superhero team.

6 Marvel Knights: Spider-Man #4. An injured Peter Parker escapes from the hospital wearing just his hospital gown and he passes by a familiar-looking office, as Clark, Lois, and Jimmy watch him go.
